Distillate Fuel Oil

Distillate Fuel Oil
Gas/diesel oil contains heavy gas oils. The least amount of crude oil atmospherically distilled is used to create gas oils, and the remaining crude oil is vacuum redistilled to create heavy gas oils. Gas/diesel oil separates between 180°C and 380°C. Depending on the application, different grades of gas oil are available. These include diesel oil for diesel compression ignition (cars, trucks, marine, etc.), light heating oil for industrial and commercial uses, and other gas oil. Heavy gas oils, which distill between 380°C and 540°C and are used as petrochemical feedstocks, are also available.
